Block Heel

A dress, how original...

Another dress, another day to wear my denim jacket, not much new here except the shoe.

Something about the look of this sandal made it feel very fresh and I think it is the block heel. Yes, you read that correctly, I know it probably brings up images of old church ladies but I promise you this is not your Grandma's shoe.

And the little touch of neon doesn't hurt either!

My favorite new dress

Polka-dotted, ruffled, 100% silk wrap dress, it can't get better than this!

It can, if it is a made in the USA, Tucker wrap dress.

And even better when you find it brand new with tags at a consignment shop for about 10% of it's original price! See Piperlime.

Now you know why this is my favorite new dress!

Slouchy

Dressed up cut-off jeans...it's all the rage and this is my interpretation.

A slouchy, silky blouse and a wedge sandal take these Levi's out on the town.

It was a different look for me and I liked it for a Saturday night.

Do you notice my fuzzy halo? My hair is starting to grow back!!!  It is very fine and very light, I'm really curious to see what my new hair will look like. As my hair is growing back all of my remaining eyelashes and eyebrows are falling out. I'm struggling to look normal, but trying hard to stay fashionable!

Vintage Style White Dress

This dress had such a vintage quality to the styling, I couldn't pass it up.

So, I played it up with a wedge and a shot next to my 1940 Chevy vintage pick up truck!

These Stuart Weitzman wedges added to the overall vintage vibe.

Catch-up

I thrifted this navy polka dot skirt in May and just loved it but this is the first chance I've had to highlight it here. It is an different length for me. Below the knee but not really a midi.

A lavender cardigan, statement necklace and nude heels. I loved how this looked.

Simple and Classic.

Mellow yellow

Poor quality ipad shots here, sorry!

This is an outfit I wore to get my monthly infusion of bisphosphonates for improving bone strength due to the metastasis of the cancer.

I want to mostly remark that in this outfit I felt really put together and classy, if I can use that word...

And I really have to thank my best friend Annette for passing on to me a bunch of awesome clothes, I love wearing all of them!!

Lucky and blessed to have such nice hand-me-downs!

Sweet Shorts

Thanks to all of my readers for your continuing kind words, thoughts and prayers as I move through the next phase of my breast cancer treatment. It has been six weeks since my final chemotherapy and I've started radiation therapy. I am doing seven weeks of external beam radiation on my left axial, breast region and sternum. It is an everyday treatment and I am 11 sessions in...a third of the way done! I'm busy but, I have taken outfit photos and I need to get back into the routine of posting my outfits. So here it goes...

I hesitantly thrifted this pair of lace shorts, I really loved them but was concerned about pulling them off at my age.

I was pleasantly surprised with these pictures, I actually really like them.

And I think they look age appropriate on me with the simple styling and loose fit. What do you think? I know I'm not forever 21....
